Role Description

We are seeking a Project Head to lead and scale our Online Medical Devices & Medical Insurance Project. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt.

The Project Head will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the project, from strategy and planning to execution, operations, and growth. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams while managing external partners, suppliers, and insurance stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will act as the main driver of the project, ensuring timely delivery, operational efficiency, regulatory alignment, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full lifecycle of the online medical devices and medical insurance project, from concept to execution and scaling
  • Develop and execute the project roadmap, timelines, budgets, and operational plans
  • Lead cross-functional teams including operations, tech, sales, marketing, customer support, and external vendors
  • Manage partnerships with medical device suppliers, distributors, insurance providers, and third-party service providers
  • Oversee platform operations including product listing, pricing, supply chain coordination, and service delivery workflows
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, insurance requirements, and quality standards
  • Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and operational gaps, and proactively implement solutions
  • Coordinate go-to-market execution in collaboration with marketing and sales teams
  • Continuously optimize processes to improve customer experience, efficiency, and profitability
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Project Management or Project Leadership, preferably within healthcare, medical devices, insurance, or e-commerce
  • Strong background in operations management, vendor coordination, and multi-stakeholder projects
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple workstreams and tight timelines
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track performance and optimize outcomes
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments and take full ownership of results
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field
  • Experience with medical devices, healthcare services, or insurance operations is a strong advantage

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The Project Head will be evaluated based on clear, measurable performance indicators, including but not limited to:

  • Successful launch and operational stability of the online medical devices and medical insurance platform within agreed timelines
  • Achievement of project milestones and deliverables according to the approved roadmap and budget
  • Revenue growth and profitability of the medical devices and insurance verticals
  • Supplier and insurance partner onboarding targets achieved within defined timelines
  • Platform performance indicators including order fulfillment rates, service turnaround time, and issue resolution time
  • Customer acquisition, retention rates, and overall customer satisfaction metrics
  • Compliance with regulatory, quality, and operational standards across all project components
  • Cost optimization and operational efficiency improvements without compromising service quality
  • Cross-functional team performance, collaboration effectiveness, and delivery consistency
  • Accuracy and clarity of reporting, dashboards, and strategic insights provided to senior management
