We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support one of our clients based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities:
1. Transfers of Work
- Manage the transfer of work packages in compliance with aerospace specifications.
- Ensure all APQP requirements are met, including PPAP deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that arise.
2. Warehouse & Logistics Transisition
- Develop and oversee a detailed transition plan to move from the incumbent service provider to the new one without disrupting operations. This involves coordinating timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to guarantee continuity in freight and warehouse services.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Oversee integration of the Warehouse Management System (e.g., SAP WMS) and ensure accurate inventory control, traceability. The Project Manager should also drive process improvements for efficiency and cost optimization
- Establish KPIs for freight and warehouse operations, track progress against these metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management. This includes monitoring cost savings, service quality, and operational risks during and after implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, and/or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the aerospace industry.
- Proven experience with APQP and PPAP processes.
- Strong understanding of aerospace specifications and standards.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Experience with paint shop operations and upgrades.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality management systems
