Job Description

JOB TITLE

Project Manager | MAF Retail | Head Office Qatar

Role Summary

Responsible for managing overall execution of assigned projects, including planning, monitoring, execution, control and closure. Ensures alignment with organisational goals, compliance requirements, and project governance standards.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Lead full project planning, including setting goals, defining objectives, establishing procedures and standards, and ensuring compliance with all relevant local regulations.
  • Develop, update and manage project plans, incorporating organisational changes, resource needs, and stakeholder requirements to ensure readiness and alignment.
  • Monitor project performance by maintaining costcontrol systems, developing governance frameworks, tracking progress, and preparing clear dashboards and performance reports.
  • Identify and resolve risks or delays, analysing milestone deviations and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on schedule.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring contracts are executed, quality standards are met, and coordination with internal teams, vendors and third parties is smooth and effective.
  • Prepare and deliver required project documentation, including interim and final reports, adhoc presentations, and updates for management and stakeholders.
  • Manage project closure, concluding final accounts, leading lessonslearned activities, and ensuring documentation is completed and shared for future improvement.
  • Support human capital development by mentoring team members, contributing to performance management, identifying training needs, facilitating onthejob learning, and ensuring adherence to corporate policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a Master's in Business Administration preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred to support structured project management practices.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in operations or project management, demonstrating strong capability in leading endtoend project cycles.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the retail sector or closely related industries, ensuring familiarity with fastpaced retail operations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to interact with stakeholders and deliver clear project updates.
  • High organisational ability, multitasking skills, and strong attention to detail, enabling effective handling of multiple project requirements.
