Project Manager - National Financial Infrastructure Programme
About the Role
Project Manager to support the delivery of a major national-level financial infrastructure programme. The role involves coordination with a regulatory body, a technology platform provider, and multiple participating institutions.
You will drive PMO governance, stakeholder engagement, onboarding activities, change management, and the transition from programme delivery into steady-state operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme Governance & Delivery Management
- Maintain core PMO artefacts (charter, governance model, RACI, plans, registers).
- Run programme cadence: steering committees, working groups, decisions, and escalations.
- Track progress, risks, dependencies, and ensure timely sign-offs.
- Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Coordinate with regulatory, industry, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage structured communication, expectations, and readiness across all parties.
- Onboarding & Readiness
- Oversee business onboarding activities for participating institutions.
- Ensure frameworks, playbooks, and readiness criteria are applied consistently.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Align business and technical workstreams with the platform provider.
- Support joint activities such as training, onboarding preparation, and limited UAT coordination.
- Transition to Operations
- Facilitate the setup of operational support functions (L1/L2) by ensuring structures, resources, and processes are defined.
- Track and manage the transition from programme delivery into BAU operations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-5 years of project management experience in financial services, regulatory environments, or large transformation programmes.
- Strong grounding in PMO practices, governance, and structured delivery.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder environments with regulatory oversight.
- Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Experience in onboarding, change management, and operational readiness.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
