Position Objective:
The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects within the Program Management Department, with a focus on smart mobility, urban intelligence, traffic management, and public safety initiatives. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with technical, operational, and stakeholder expectations, while coordinating across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Lead the full project lifecycle, including planning, mobilization, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Manage projects across smart mobility, traffic systems, urban intelligence, surveillance, and public safety domains.
- Coordinate with government and semi-government entities, consultants, technology partners, operators, and internal teams.
- Translate strategic objectives into structured delivery plans, including workstreams, milestones, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Establish and manage project governance frameworks, including reporting, stakeholder engagement, and escalation processes.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and readiness across all stakeholders.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and change control processes.
- Monitor and evaluate contractor and consultant performance to ensure quality and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Ensure alignment between client expectations, operational needs, and project outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, risk assessments, and executive updates.
- Track and manage project financials, ensuring effective cost control throughout the lifecycle.
- Support project structuring from early-stage planning through mobilization and execution readiness.
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices, governance, and methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Transportation, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant project management experience.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, P3O, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale or complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Experience in at least two of the following areas is preferred:
- Traffic management systems
- Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
- Smart mobility solutions
- Urban intelligence / smart city initiatives
- Public safety or surveillance systems
- Demonstrated experience managing client-facing projects with government, semi-government, or large enterprise stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
