Job Description

  • Job Purpose

To plan, coordinate, and monitor all project-related shipments, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.

  • Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end project shipments (local & international).

• Prepare and review shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO).

• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams.

• Track shipments and provide regular status reports to project and procurement teams.

• Ensure compliance with customs, import/export regulations, and project requirements.

• Coordinate customs clearance and resolve shipment delays or issues.

• Optimize logistics costs and shipment methods.

• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.

• Support project schedules by ensuring on-time material availability.

• Manage claims related to loss, damage, or delays.

  • Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

• 3– years of experience in project logistics or shipment coordination.

• Strong knowledge of international and local shipping, Incoterms, and customs procedures.

• Experience with project cargo and oversized shipments is an advantage.

  • Skills & Competencies

• Strong coordination and communication skills.

• High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple shipments under tight deadlines.

• Cost awareness and problem-solving mindset.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.

• Ability to work with cross-functional project teams.
