Role Description

DSAM Logistics Trading Company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Officer to join our team in Dubai. This is an on-site position, and the candidate must already be residing in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services required for company operations.

The Purchase Officer will work closely with logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain processes while maintaining quality standards and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, goods, and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Proven 3 years of experience as a Purchase Officer or in a similar procurement role.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, supplier management, and negotiation.
• Experience in logistics or trading companies is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement systems.
