Job Title: QA/QC Electrical Inspector

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Electrical Inspector to ensure that all electrical and low current works at the project site are executed in compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable standards, and quality requirements. This position plays a critical role in conducting inspections, witnessing tests, maintaining quality documentation, and ensuring that all electrical installations meet project quality standards before handover and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation Inspection & Verification
- Inspect installation of trays, conduits, cabling, terminations, panels, MDBs/SMDBs/DBs, transformers, generators, low current systems, grounding/earthing, and lightning protection.
- Verify materials and equipment against approved submittals; check labeling, tagging, and cable schedules.
- Ensure compliance with drawings/ITPs and coordinate with consultants for hold/witness points and WIR closures.
Testing & Quality Control
- Witness tests including IR/continuity, functional checks, protection relay tests (as directed), and LPS continuity/earth resistance.
- Verify test results, calibration certificates, and equipment performance against specifications.
- Support testing activities and maintain familiarity with test instruments.
Documentation & Reporting
- Keep detailed inspection reports, WIR/MIR logs, and redlines for as-built updates.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation for handover and closeout.
- Ensure timely closure of inspection points and punch list items.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of QA/QC experience on large building and infrastructure projects.
- Active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Working knowledge of IEC/IEEE, NEC, NFPA 70/72, and SBC electrical requirements.
