About the Role
BEC Arabia is seeking a highly skilled QA/QC MEP Team Leader to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring that all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works are executed in full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
You will lead QA/QC activities on-site, manage inspection processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality across all MEP disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise QA/QC engineers and inspectors for MEP works
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and approved drawings
- Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals
- Monitor installation works for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective actions
- Prepare QA/QC reports and maintain proper documentation
- Coordinate with construction and project teams to ensure quality deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- 8–12 years of experience in QA/QC for MEP works
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, etc.)
- Experience in large-scale construction projects
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
