Job Role:
The Quality Assurance & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting companywide compliance and quality assurance efforts across multiple locations. This role will track outstanding compliance items, follow up with staff to ensure timely completion, help
maintain audit readiness, and provide weekly reporting to leadership on open items,
completed items, and areas requiring further action.
This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and
comfortable holding staff accountable through consistent follow-up. The ideal candidate is
able to monitor documentation, policies, training requirements, and operational standards
to help ensure the company remains compliant and well organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor compliance-related items across all company programs and locations
- Follow up with staff regarding outstanding documentation, signatures, training items,policy acknowledgments, and other compliance requirements
- Maintain organized records of open items, completed items, and deadlines
- Prepare and submit weekly compliance reports to leadership outlining outstanding issues, follow-up status, and completed items
- Support quality assurance efforts through chart audits, documentation review, and operational tracking
- Help ensure policies, procedures, and internal standards are being followed consistently
- Identify missing, incomplete, or overdue items and escalate concerns when needed
- Assist with audit preparation, corrective action tracking, and ongoing compliance improvement efforts
- Coordinate with leadership and staff to support timely resolution of compliance-related
- Help maintain a structured system for accountability and follow-through across departments
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, on-site role
- Fixed night shift: 3:00 PM – 11 PM
- Fixed 2 days off
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare data analysis or informatics role, ideally within an FQHC or community health setting.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in quality assurance, compliance coordination, auditing, or administrative oversight
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to follow up consistently and professionally with staff
- Ability to track multiple items, deadlines, and priorities at the same time
- Experience preparing reports and maintaining organized documentation
- Ability to work independently and stay proactive without needing constant direction
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, mental health, or substance use settings ( Highly Preferred )
- Fluency In English ( Written & Spoken )
