Job Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and inspecting products throughout all stages of production to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards. The role supports the quality team by identifying non-conformities, ensuring adherence to procedures, and maintaining accurate quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
- Verify that incoming raw materials from suppliers meet approved specifications and handling requirements.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality procedures and cleanliness standards.
- Identify and isolate non-conforming products and ensure proper documentation and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper implementation of changeover procedures during production processes.
- Conduct equipment cleanliness checks and perform required swab tests under QA supervision.
- Report quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions to the Quality Manager.
- Maintain accurate records and submit quality inspection documentation to the quality team leader.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Control, Food Science, or a relevant technical qualification.
- 13 years of experience in quality inspection or quality control within the manufacturing or food industry.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Teamwork and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Understanding of inspection and measurement techniques.
- Familiarity with statistical quality concepts.
- Ability to detect non-conformities and support corrective actions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Good command of English.
