Principal Accountabilities
Policies, Processes & Procedures
· Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a productive work
environment.
· Implement and uphold safety and security protocols to protect the well-being of all employees and
company assets.
Measurement & Quantity Verification
1. Conduct accurate on-site measurements for civil, structural, and infrastructure works (roads, drainage,
utilities, etc.).
2. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs based on approved drawings and specifications.
3. Maintain and update the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as per site and as-built conditions.
Progress Valuations
1. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress valuations based on measured works.
2. Verify and agree on quantities with the client's representative and/or consultant for payment certification.
3. prepare of subcontractor quantities valuations based on actual work done.
Drawings & Site Coordination
1. Liaise with the engineering and site teams to ensure drawings and on-site work align.
2. Monitor changes to project scope and drawings and assess their impact on quantities.
3. Attend site inspections and joint measurements with consultants or clients.
Records & Documentation
1. Maintain accurate measurement records, survey reports, and quantity logs.
2. Ensure all site measurement sheets are signed and archived for future reference.
3. Support claims and reports with detailed quantity-based documentation
Variation Management
1. Identify, measure, and quantify variations from the original scope.
2. Assist in preparing variation submissions with detailed quantity back-up.
3. Maintain a variation log for all quantity-related change events.
Contract Compliance (Measurement Related)
1. Work within the boundaries of the contract measurement rules (e.g., CESMM, POMI, or contract-specific
methods).
2. Assist in interpreting contract clauses related to measurement and BOQ.
Site Team
1. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QS staff.
2. Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor, Manager Quantity and Project Manager for any request.
3. Closing project. 4. Prepare and manage RBOQ, as built quantities and as-built documents
Required Academic Qualification
Bachelor's Degree - Category Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Years of Experience
2-5 Years of relevant experience in post-contract quantity surveying in infrastructure and heavy civil
projects in Saudi Arabia or GCC.
