Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We're hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Arena Modular team in KSA. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and commercial evaluations for modular and temporary building projects. You will play a key role in tender preparation, project budgeting, cost control, and value engineering, ensuring projects are delivered in line with Arena's commercial standards and profitability targets.

What you'll do

• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations, analyse costs, and prepare competitive tenders and commercial proposals.
• Support project budgeting, cost tracking, variations, progress claims, and final accounts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Verify quantities, conduct cost comparisons, and assist with post-contract commercial and subcontractor management.
• Work closely with Design, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Project teams to ensure accurate pricing and commercial control.
• Maintain tender records, cost databases, budgets, forecasts, and commercial documentation in line with company standards.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in construction drawings, BOQ preparation, estimating, and tender documentation.
• Good understanding of cost control, commercial management, and value engineering principles.
• Experience within construction, fit-out, modular buildings, or the events industry is advantageous.
• KSA experience is a must.
