Job Description

the Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing and monitoring project costs and quantities, including 

quantity take-off, cost review, preparation of payment certificates, and supporting project financial 

control processes to ensure works are delivered within the approved budget and achieve optimum 

project value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs in accordance with approved drawings and specifications

• Review project costs and monitor project budgets

• Prepare interim and final payment certificates, variations, and claims

• Coordinate with technical teams and project management to ensure accuracy of quantities and 

executed works

• Monitor project progress and control costs throughout all project stages

• Assist in the evaluation of quotations, contracts, and subcontractors

• Prepare financial and project cost reports

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within construction projects

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost management, and construction contracts

• Experience in payment certificates, claims, and variation management

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively
