Quantity Surveyor

Job Description;* Review mechanical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents.* Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.* Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and material quantities.* Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare comparison sheets.* Review mechanical subcontractors interim payment applications.* Prepare and assess variation orders, additional works, and claims.* Coordinate with technical office, procurement, planning, and site teams.* Monitor project quantities and costs against the approved budget.* Prepare periodic cost and quantity reports.* Maintain accurate records of measurements, variations, and payments.
Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.* 3–5 years of relevant quantity surveying experience.* Previous experience within contracting companies is required.* Experience working on GCC projects is required.* Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimation, and payment certificates.* Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity take-off tools.* Good command of English.* Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
