We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately 100 km north of Jeddah. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing project cost control, measurement of works, and contract administration to ensure compliance with contractual and financial requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify contractor interim payment applications based on actual work progress.
  • Measure and evaluate quantities of completed works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor and control project costs and variations.
  • Review and assess variation orders, claims, and change requests submitted by contractors.
  • Maintain proper records of quantities, measurements, and payment certifications.
  • Assist in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting for the project.
  • Ensure compliance with contract conditions and project commercial procedures.
  • Support the project team in contract administration and commercial management.
  • Monitor works related to road networks and multi-utility infrastructure, including:
    • Potable water networks
    • Firefighting systems
    • Gas distribution systems
    • Stormwater drainage systems
    • Sanitary sewage systems
    • Power distribution (MV & LV)
    • Street lighting and telecom infrastructure
    • Irrigation and landscape works
  • Coordinate with Resident Engineers, planning team, and contractors for progress measurement and cost tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience in roads and multi-utility infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity.
  • Good knowledge of measurement methods, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and commercial procedures.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
