We are looking for a talented and creative Reel Content Creator has experience in managing social media platforms especially tiktok and Instagram to join our team at DEOC Cosmetics.

Job description:

As Reels Creator will be responsible for independently coming up with creative video ideas and owning the full video creation process from concept to execution. This includes ideation, concept development, scripting, shooting, video editing, and final delivery of short-form, social-first video content for Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, understands trends and performance-driven content, and is hands-on with cameras, lighting, and editing tools and probs. A passion for beauty and cosmetics, combined with the ability to turn original ideas into engaging, high-quality videos, is essential to elevating the brand's image and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

•         Shoot high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) for social media, ads, and digital campaigns.

•         Capture content during product shoots, launches, tutorials, UGC-style videos, behind-the-scenes, and events.

•          Edit raw footage into engaging, fast-paced videos with strong hooks, clear storytelling, and high retention.

•          Create platform-optimized edits for different formats and ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).

•          Add transitions, text overlays, sound effects, music, subtitles, and motion elements that enhance performance.

•          Ensure all videos align with brand tone, visual identity, and messaging guidelines.

•          Develop video concepts, scripts, hooks, and captions in collaboration with the marketing team.

•          Record and/or edit voice-overs when needed, ensuring clarity, pacing, and tone fit the platform and audience.

•          Optimize videos for each platform (timing, captions, subtitles, formats, trends).

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Production, Multimedia Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

·      2+ years of experience as a Reels creator, preferably within the cosmetics, beauty, or fashion industries.

·      Strong portfolio demonstrating videography and video editing skills with experience in creating promotional, social media, and product videos.

·      Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques for various platforms.

·      Experience in product video shoots, including tutorials, demonstrations, and influencer collaborations.

·      Ability to adapt to different video styles and formats, from quick social media clips to longer-form promotional videos.
