We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Sales Manager for the GCC Region to be based in Dubai. This is an individual contributor quota-carrying role. The primary objective of this role is to drive new business growth by identifying and closing opportunities within the assigned GCC market, focusing on acquiring new logos and growing the revenue portfolio within our existing customers in different verticals (Banks, Fintech, Telcos, Retailers, and other target clients). This individual will play a pivotal role in expanding FOO's footprint in the region, establishing partnerships with prospects and existing customers that align with our Fintech solutions, and contributing towards our regional and global revenue goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities by acquiring new logos in the assigned GCC region across sectors such as Banking, Fintech, Telecommunications, and Retail, etc..
- Build a strong sales pipeline by actively prospecting and generating leads (outbound), leveraging industry knowledge and FOO's network.
- Develop and execute FOO's sales strategies to meet client needs, focusing on FOO's financial technology products.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within prospective client organizations.
- Represent FOO at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote brand awareness and cultivate potential partnerships.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs in the assigned GCC region.
- Provide strategic input to the sales leadership team based on market insights to enhance product positioning, pricing, and market penetration strategies.
- Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring accurate tracking and forecast predictability within the CRM system.
- Implement MEDDPICC as a sales qualification methodology.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and market insights for the Sales Director and management team.
- Work closely with internal teams (Presales, Project Team, and Product) to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- Maintain a consistent relationship with existing clients to minimize/avoid churn and to create new upselling & cross-selling opportunities to increase FOO's wallet share at those accounts.
Qualifications and Pre-requisites:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar related technical fields.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B Software Sales and Business Development.
- Sales Hunter mentality.
- Proven experience selling software solutions to Fintech and Banking industries is mandatory.
- Having an established strategic network (with references) in the GCC region focused on industries like Financial Institutions, Banks, Fintechs, Telcos, Big Retailers.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, digital banking and digital payment solutions.
- Proven track record in generating leads and closing high-value sales deals through a long sales cycle.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
N.B: Profiles focused on hardware sales or non-software IT services are not aligned with this role.
