this role suits a commercially sharp regional sales leader who takes full ownership of their territory, builds high-performing distributor partnerships, and turns strategy into consistent commercial results.

responsibilities

  • own and drive the commercial strategy for the assigned region, ensuring alignment with annual business and growth objectives
  • build and execute a regional business plan that identifies priority markets, channels, and growth opportunities
  • deliver sales and profitability targets across volume, market share, distribution, visibility, and stock health
  • lead and develop distributor partnerships, setting clear expectations and holding partners accountable for performance
  • oversee demand forecasting and short- to mid-term planning to ensure effective market supply and execution
  • manage financial exposure across distributor accounts, including credit and risk controls
  • design and roll out trade, brand, and consumer activation initiatives tailored to local market dynamics
  • ensure strong in-market execution of commercial and activation programmes, tracking effectiveness and return on spend

requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 57 years experience in regional or international commercial roles within FMCG or manufacturing environments
  • strong background in sales, trade marketing, and distributor or partner-led business models
  • proven ability to translate strategy into executable commercial plans across multiple markets
  • commercially analytical, with the ability to interpret data and make sound business decisions
  • highly organised, with strong planning and project management capabilities
  • resilient, self-driven, and comfortable working autonomously across regions
