About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant Manager to join the Front-of-House team at Isola Ristorante Italiano. The role oversees daily restaurant operations, leads FOH staff to deliver exceptional guest service, and acts as a key liaison between management and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient, profitable, and compliant operation of the restaurant in line with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, lighting, and equipment functionality.
  • Manage stock control, ordering systems, and ensure accuracy of inventories and supplies.
  • Supervise, schedule, and support Floor Managers and Supervisors; provide coverage during emergency or ad-hoc absences.
  • Maintain safe working conditions for guests and employees, promptly addressing health and safety concerns.
  • Lead, coach, train, motivate, and develop staff through on-the-job training, briefings, and performance evaluations.
  • Evaluate employee performance, recommend promotions, salary reviews, and corrective actions in coordination with HR.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through regular interaction.
  • Participate in management meetings and keep the Director of Operations informed of operational issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • BA degree in Business Administration, or a Hospitality Degree from a reputable University.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
  • Fluent in English, additional language will be a plus
