Safety Officer

Role Description:

The Safety Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The Safety Officer will monitor workplace conditions, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include supporting risk assessments, participating in accident and incident investigations, maintaining safety records, and preparing reports for management and clients. The Safety Officer will deliver toolbox talks and safety training sessions, promote a strong safety culture among all site personnel, and collaborate with project teams to implement corrective and preventive measures. The role also involves coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed to ensure continuous compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations, as well as recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Developing and implementing HSE plans and procedures, maintaining safety records and reports, and coordinating with project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to support a strong safety culture.
• Delivering safety inductions and awareness sessions to personnel and supporting continuous improvement in HSE performance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH IGC certified. Additional HSE or safety training certifications are an advantage.
• Bachelors or Diploma in any field (MOFA attested).
• 2 - 3 years of experience in HSE roles.
• Basic English-speaking skill
