Job Description

Sales Engineer Air Quality Monitoring Instrumentation

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Sales Engineer to drive sales of Air Quality Monitoring solutions, including portable and continuous monitoring systems. The ideal candidate will blend technical understanding with consultative sales to support customers across industrial, commercial, and governmental sectors. This role requires someone who can identify client needs, recommend compliant solutions, and manage the full sales cycle effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales opportunities for air quality monitoring instruments and systems
  • Identify customer needs for ambient air, indoor air quality (IAQ), and emissions monitoring
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, consultants, EPCs, and regulatory bodies
  • Conduct site assessments and recommend suitable monitoring solutions
  • Support selection and sizing of gas analyzers, particulate monitors, CEMS, and data logging systems
  • Deliver technical presentations, demos, and product briefings
  • Ensure solutions comply with local and international environmental standards
  • Provide pre and postsales technical support in collaboration with service teams
  • Stay updated on environmental regulations, market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • 37 years of experience in technical sales or applications engineering
  • Proven experience with air quality monitoring systems or environmental instrumentation
  • Strong understanding of air quality parameters and measurement principles
  • Familiarity with electrochemical, NDIR, PID, and optical particle monitoring technologies
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
  • Analytical, detailoriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Arabic speaking is mandatory
  • Willingness to travel; valid driving license
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms
