Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all sales operations and initiatives to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, performance monitoring, and client relationship management. The individual will ensure alignment between sales goals and company objectives, manage daily sales activities, coordinate with internal departments, and provide regular reports to senior management. A strong focus on market trends, customer satisfaction, and effective execution of sales strategies is essential to the role's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop main sales objectives and operational plans aligned with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
  • Supervise the execution of daily, weekly, and quarterly sales activities ensuring compliance with approved operational strategies.
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies that expand the customer base and ensure the company's strong presence in the market.
  • Lead and supervise the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor sales performance and analyze sales reports, pricing structures, and market trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily reports and weekly sales plans.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients to gather feedback and address concerns.
  • Analyze market dynamics, emerging trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Design area-based sales plans and recommend changes to sales strategies based on market data and customer insights.
  • Propose expansion or contraction strategies backed by reliable market data.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 58 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competition analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
