About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to drive business growth and profitability by managing customer portfolios, strengthening market presence, and executing the company's sales strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
This role plays a key part in market intelligence, tender management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure sustainable growth and strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Analysis
- Identify potential customers, new markets, and product opportunities locally and in the MENA region.
- Monitor competitor activities and customer demand trends.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop business cases and follow up on technical and financial feasibility studies.
- Promote the company's brand and value proposition within target markets.
Tender & Bidding Management
- Lead the full tendering and bidding process.
- Collect and analyze data on raw material costs, product availability, and market pricing.
- Coordinate tender documentation with Finance, Operations, and other relevant departments.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals.
Contract Negotiation
- Participate in commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Address pricing structures and business model alignment.
- Coordinate contract drafting with the Legal Department.
- Ensure clear understanding and documentation of customer requirements.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Contribute to the development of the local sales strategy based on market research.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and growth opportunities.
- Execute sales action plans and monitor performance against objectives.
- Track industry and market trends to anticipate changes.
Forecasting & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Establish and monitor customer and product forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate forecast updates.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams to optimize copper fixation and production planning.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
- Ensure efficient customer service and timely response to inquiries and complaints.
- Support Quality and Logistics teams in resolving customer-related issues.
- Conduct regular customer visits to identify potential growth opportunities.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare, communicate, and review Sales KPIs.
- Analyze performance gaps and implement improvement initiatives.
- Optimize sales processes, tools, and reporting systems to enhance efficiency.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to Quality and EHS systems.
- Promote corporate values, code of conduct, and confidentiality requirements.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field.
- 710 years of experience in B2B sales within cables manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of pricing strategies and raw material market dynamics specially copper-based products.
- Strong experience in tender management and contract negotiation.
- Proven ability to manage key accounts and drive revenue growth.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
