Role Summary
The Sales Manager Higher Education (EdTech) is responsible for driving revenue growth across universities, colleges, and research institutions through strategic promotion of smart labs, robotics education platforms, and advanced learning technologies. This role requires strong institutional sales expertise, technical understanding, and ownership of the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to project closure.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales growth across universities, colleges, and research institutions in the UAE and GCC.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the higher education and research sector.
Lead the complete sales cycle from lead generation, client engagement, solution presentation, proposal submission, negotiation, and closure.
Build long-term relationships with Presidents, Provosts, Deans, HODs, Research Directors, and Procurement Departments.
Work closely with technical and project teams to design customized EdTech, robotics lab, and smart learning solutions.
Prepare and submit detailed technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, and tender documents.
Represent the company at exhibitions, education summits, conferences, and government tender briefings.
Maintain strict sales forecasting, reporting accuracy, and CRM discipline.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term account retention.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
For this technically oriented role, candidates are expected to hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical discipline. A Master's degree in Engineering or Technology will be considered a strong added advantage and indicative of advanced technical expertise.
Minimum 610 years of proven sales experience in Higher Education, EdTech, Robotics, or Advanced Technology Solutions.
Demonstrated ability to engage with academic leadership, researchers, and institutional procurement teams.
Proven experience in institutional sales, tender handling, and government procurement processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
UAE/GCC higher education market exposure is highly preferred.
