Job Description

We're Looking for a Sales Manager to develop and execute the HVAC sales strategy in order to strengthen Hitachi's market position in Egypt, expand market share among key consultants and contractors, and drive sustainable revenue growth across VRF, applied systems, Chillers and packaged solutions.

The Sales Manager will lead the sales team, build strong relationships with consultants and developers, and position Hitachi as a premium, reliable, and technically superior HVAC brand in the Egyptian market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Expansion & Strategic Growth

  • Develop and implement a clear go-to-market strategy for, Chillers VRF and applied HVAC systems.
  • Identify and penetrate key verticals: real estate developers, hospitality, healthcare, administrative buildings, and industrial projects.
  • Increase brand specification rate among top engineering consultants.
  • Analyze competitors positioning, pricing, and pipeline (Daikin, LG, Carrier, Midea, etc.).
  • Establish Hitachi as a preferred brand in high-value projects.

2. Sales & Revenue Management

  • Achieve annual sales targets (revenue, margin, market share).
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Drive early-stage project engagement to secure specifications.
  • Ensure proper pricing strategy aligned with company profitability goals.
  • Monitor FX impact and ensure disciplined commercial offers.

3. Consultant & Key Account Development

  • Develop strong relationships with:
  • Top HVAC consultants
  • MEP contractors
  • Real estate developers
  • Government entities
  • Conduct technical presentations and brand awareness seminars.
  • Lead pre-tender negotiations and commercial discussions.

4. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, coach, and structure the HVAC sales team.
  • Implement structured weekly sales visit plans and KPI tracking.
  • Ensure CRM discipline and pipeline reporting.
  • Conduct bi-weekly performance reviews and strategy alignment meetings.

5. Technical & Commercial Coordination

  • Coordinate with technical office for:
  • Submittals
  • Compliance
  • Value engineering
  • Work closely with supply chain to ensure delivery reliability.
  • Support after-sales strategy to enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business.

KPIs

  • Revenue growth % YoY
  • Market share growth in VRF segment
  • Specification rate among top 20 consultants
  • Gross margin achievement
  • Pipeline coverage ratio (3x target minimum)
  • Customer retention rate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC specialization preferred).
  • 10–12 years of HVAC sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and applied systems.
  • Existing relationships with major consultants and MEP contractors in Egypt.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.

Preferred Profile

  • Experience with premium brands (Hitachi, Daikin, Mitsubishi, etc.).
  • Proven track record in large-scale project sales.
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
