Sales Manager
Location: Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities
1.Sales Strategy Development:
oDevelop and implement effective sales strategies for the Saudi Arabian market.
oAnalyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
2.Team Leadership and Management:
oLead a team of sales professionals, setting objectives, coaching, and performance monitoring.
oRecruit, onboard, and train new sales representatives.
3.Business Development:
oIdentify potential clients and decision-makers and build long-term relationships with them.
oIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the Saudi market.
oNegotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
4.Sales Targets / Sales Operations:
oAchieve growth and hit sales targets
oDesign and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.
oOversee the sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting and sales tracking.
5.Financial Management:
oDevelop and manage the sales budget in Saudi region
oMonitor and analyze sales performance metrics to forecast revenue.
6.Customer Relationship Management:
oPresent sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the MD of the Group.
oMaintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
7.Market Analysis:
oUnderstand the competitive landscape and Saudi market trends.
oProvide on-the-ground insights into market dynamics and changes.
8.Compliance and Cultural Sensitivity:
oEnsure adherence to laws and regulations governing business operations in Saudi Arabia.
oDemonstrate sensitivity to the cultural nuances and business practices within the region.
9.Collaboration and Communication:
oWork closely with the Sales Director to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.
oCommunicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Skills and Qualifications
oBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
oMinimum 5 years experience in retail product & project sales.
oUnderstanding of the Saudi Arabian business culture and legal requirements
oStrong business sense and industry expertise in Shopfitting/Retail/Design acumen
oPrior experience in managing a team.
oAbility to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
oExceptional negotiation and sales skills.
oExperience in business planning and negotiation.
oStrong business sense and industry expertise.
oExcellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
oFluency/proficiency in Arabic and English is required due to the bilingual nature of the business environment in Saudi Arabia.
oAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
oFamiliarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
Working Conditions:
The Sales Manager will be based in Saudi Arabia and may be required to travel extensively within the region and occasionally internationally. They must be able to navigate the cultural and business landscape of the Middle East effectively.
