SAP Functional Trainer – Order to Cash (Contractor Role)
Location: Dubai, UAE (with travel across programme countries)
Role Purpose
The role supports the rollout of SAP-enabled Order to Cash processes, ensuring users understand new processes, system transactions, and role responsibilities ahead of go-live.
The trainer will deliver instructor-led training sessions and contribute to user readiness activities, enabling successful adoption of new ways of working across multiple countries.
The role requires international travel across programme locations to deliver in-person training sessions and support business teams during training and handover phases.
Key Accountabilities
Training Preparation
- Review training materials created by the functional team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and suitability for end users
- Ensure readiness of training resources, including exercise datasets
- Support coordination of training schedules and session preparation where required
Training Delivery
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions for Order to Cash end users across programme locations
- Facilitate scenario-based training sessions demonstrating SAP O2C processes and system transactions, including sales order management, billing, invoicing, credit management, and accounts receivable
- Adapt training delivery to different audiences and roles
Post Go-Live Support
- Deliver refresher training sessions following go-live
- Capture feedback and contribute to improvements in training materials and delivery
- Conduct assessments to evaluate learner understanding and ensure effective knowledge transfer
- Support the transition of training ownership to the business post go-live, ensuring readiness of business trainers
Training Logistics
- Travel internationally across programme countries to deliver in-person training sessions and user support
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience delivering instructor-led training on SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash processes, including SAP SD and relevant FI integration touchpoints (AR, credit management, billing)
- Strong understanding of O2C end-to-end processes in an ERP environment, including sales order processing, delivery, billing, collections, and dispute management
- Experience delivering role-based SAP training to business end users, including system demonstrations, business scenarios, and practical exercises
- Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Experience supporting train-the-trainer approaches and transitioning training ownership to business teams post go-live
