We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to support and enhance asset management and maintenance operations within our SAP environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP PM processes, including preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance, and will play a key role in ensuring system efficiency, asset reliability, and seamless integration with other SAP modules. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to optimize maintenance strategies and improve operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support SAP PM functionalities, including preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance processes
- Set up and maintain master data such as functional locations, equipment, bills of materials (BOM), and task lists
- Design and manage maintenance plans, strategies, and work order processes
- Handle notifications, work orders, confirmations, and maintenance history tracking
- Integrate SAP PM with other modules such as MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and other relevant SAP components
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to plant maintenance processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend best practices
- Provide end-user training and create functional documentation
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PM implementation or support
- Strong understanding of plant maintenance lifecycles, asset management, and maintenance planning
- Proven experience in configuring SAP PM modules and handling master data
- Experience integrating SAP PM with MM, FI, and other SAP modules
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Asset Management (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Asset Management
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications for maintenance management
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance and IoT integration (advantage)
- Familiarity with mobile maintenance solutions and workforce management tools
- Experience in data migration and asset master data governance
- Understanding of maintenance KPIs, reporting, and analytics
