We are seeking a creative Senior Architect to join our client's design team in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing architectural designs, interior spaces, fit-out packages, event stands, and retail display units, covering all stages from concept development to detailed design. A key requirement for this role is the ability to produce exceptionally high-quality, photorealistic renders and visualizations using industry-standard software. This position requires a strong balance of artistic creativity, technical accuracy, and a solid understanding of spatial design across multiple typologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Development
- Develop innovative architectural concepts, interior design proposals, and detailed fit-out solutions for commercial, retail, and event environments.
- Design bespoke event stands, exhibition booths, and retail display units that are brand-driven, functional, and visually impactful.
- Create space planning layouts, material and finish palettes, furniture specifications, and lighting concepts.
- Prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documentation packages.
2. 3D Modeling & Visualization
- Produce high-quality 3D models for architectural spaces, interior environments, and custom-designed elements.
- Create photorealistic renderings for client presentations, marketing collateral, and design approvals.
- Develop atmospheric and detailed visualizations that accurately represent materials, lighting, and spatial experience.
- Produce animations or virtual walkthroughs when required for key projects.
3. Technical Execution
- Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications suitable for contractors and fabricators.
- Coordinate closely with engineers, consultants, and production teams to maintain design integrity throughout execution.
- Conduct site visits and surveys for fit-out and event-related projects.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and industry best practices.
4. Client & Team Collaboration
- Effectively present design concepts and visualizations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Incorporate feedback and revise designs to align with client objectives and project constraints.
- Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary design team to achieve project goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 35+ years of professional experience in an architectural or design firm, supported by a portfolio demonstrating work in architecture, interiors, and/or experiential or retail environments.
Software Proficiency (Essential):
- Advanced 3D Modeling & Rendering: Expert-level proficiency in at least one of the following:
- 3ds Max + Corona Renderer / V-Ray
- SketchUp + V-Ray / Enscape
- Rhino + V-Ray / Enscape
Supporting Software: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for technical documentation and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for post-production and presentation materials.
