Job Description:
Principal Business analyst will be part of product development team to support the product manager in doing required analysis of the product by breaking it down to epics and features.
Will be focusing on modeling the business requirements and converting them into clear user stories having full ownership on the product transactional backlog.
Will take part in all scrum meetings participating with team in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings.
Responsibilities
- Ensure user stories are ready for development to start work.
- Ensure each story has detailed acceptance criteria.
- Ensure full understanding of each user story by all development team members.
- Ensures close collaboration with the development team.
- Participating in daily scrums (if needed)
- Evaluating product progress at each iteration
- Seek to identify issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
- Seek to identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level, focusing on quality improvement and data management.
- Contribution and coordination of project-level analysis producing required feature analysis documentation (business and system requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of total experience , preferably in the Insurance or financial domain
- Fintech startup experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in generating process documentation.
- Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
- Experience in problem analysis and process
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering
