Role Overview

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Director, Management Consulting to provide executive-level leadership across client engagements, drive significant revenue growth, and shape the strategic direction of the consulting practice. The Senior Director serves as a trusted advisor to C-suite and board-level stakeholders and plays a critical role in building the firm's brand, capabilities, and talent pipeline.

This role is ideal for senior consulting leaders preparing for Partner or Principal-level responsibilities while already operating with a strong commercial and strategic mandate.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Client Leadership

  • Act as executive sponsor for strategic, high-impact client engagements
  • Advise C-suite and board-level stakeholders on enterprise strategy, transformation, and performance improvement
  • Lead the design and oversight of complex, multi-workstream engagements across geographies and functions
  • Ensure delivery excellence, value realization, and long-term client satisfaction

Revenue Ownership & Business Development

  • Own and grow a significant client portfolio and revenue target
  • Identify, originate, and close new business opportunities across priority accounts and markets
  • Lead complex proposal efforts, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
  • Build long-term, trusted client relationships that drive repeat business

Practice & Capability Leadership

  • Shape the strategic direction of the consulting practice, including service offerings and go-to-market priorities
  • Drive thought leadership, intellectual capital development, and market positioning
  • Represent the firm externally through executive forums, conferences, and industry events
  • Sponsor firm-wide initiatives focused on innovation, operational excellence, and growth

Talent & Culture Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and sponsor Directors, Managers, and high-potential consultants
  • Play a key role in senior talent recruitment, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven consulting culture

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 810 years of progressive experience in management consulting or a closely related advisory role
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex consulting engagements
  • Proven track record of revenue generation, account leadership, and business development
  • Experience advising senior executives and influencing enterprise-level decisions
  • Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Deep expertise in one or more industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, technology, energy, public sector)
  • Experience in a top-tier consulting firm or high-growth consulting practice
  • International and multi-market engagement experience
