Senior Electrical Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with strong experience in manufacturing environments to oversee the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of electrical systems across the facility. The role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, supporting production operations, and implementing electrical engineering best practices to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Supervise electrical technicians and provide technical guidance and training.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
• Support production teams by minimizing equipment downtime and improving reliability.
• Manage electrical projects, upgrades, and installations within budget and timeline requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to support operational objectives.
• Monitor energy consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4-6 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and control systems.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical drawings, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CMMS systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
