Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Ensure accurate bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Clean and maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Prepare and manage cashflow projections
- Oversee VAT filings and support UAE Corporate Tax compliance
- Work closely with external auditors and manage year-end audit requirements
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting insights
- Supervise junior accounting staff when required
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years accounting experience (UAE experience required)
- Strong understanding of:
- Financial statement preparation
- Cashflow forecasting
- Fixed assets & depreciation
- VAT & Corporate Tax in the UAE
- Experience using ERP systems (Zoho experience is a strong advantage)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and structured
- Committed profile (no frequent job hopping)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- CPA / ACCA / CMA is a plus (not mandatory)
