Configuring and managing LPAR/DLPAR (Logical/Dynamic Partitioning), VIO (Virtual I/O), and HACMP (High Availability Cluster Multi-Processing).
Managing, configuring, and troubleshooting of AIX and RHEL OS systems.
Analyze issues related to AIX and provide support .
Responsible for installing and managing IBM AIX systems.
Implementing , configuring, and administrating of IBM Power VM, VMware ESXi, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Implementing and configuring of IBM Flash System Storage.
Implementing and configuring of IBM Fusion HCI .
Hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Perform health checks across hardware, virtualization, systems, and networking.
Interpret client needs, assess the full requirements, and identify suitable solutions.
Builds simulated networks in test labs to validate the design and solution.
Work on detailed projects integrating multiple technologies across multiple disciplines as part of a team.
Work on-site or remotely to diagnose and resolve both emergency and problems related to availability, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality.
Other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical and Communication or related technical degree.
IBM AIX Certified Administrator and other related certificates.
Expert in IBM Power Systems (Power 9, 10,11) setup, configuration, migration, and performance optimization.
Deep understanding of AIX operating system administration, including installation, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
Expert in configuring and managing LPAR/DLPAR (Logical/Dynamic Partitioning), VIO (Virtual I/O), and HACMP (High Availability Cluster Multi-Processing).
Proficiency in IBM Fusion HCI and IBM Flash System Storage.
Experienced in IBM Power VM, VMware ESXi, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Fluent in English - Speaking and Writing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
