POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer to deliver high-quality interior design work across mixed-use, hospitality, and commercial projects. This role requires a strong balance of creative flair and technical drawing ability — from mood board development to construction-ready fit-out packages.

Department: Architecture — Interior Design Division

Reports To: Design Team Head / Technical Team Head

Experience Required: 5 to 8 years

Location: Cairo, Egypt (with regional project involvement)

Employment Type: Full-Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

›   Develop interior design concepts including space planning, material palettes, lighting concepts, and FF&E selections.

›   Produce interior working drawings: reflected ceiling plans, floor finish plans, wall elevations, joinery details.

›   Prepare mood boards and presentation materials for client approvals.

›   Coordinate with architecture and MEP teams to integrate interior design with building systems.

›   Specify materials and finishes, manage sample libraries, and support procurement tracking.

›   Review contractor shop drawings and submittals for interior fit-out components.

›   Support senior designers in client presentations and design review sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

›   Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.

›   5 to 8 years of professional experience with a focus on mixed-use, hospitality, or luxury commercial projects.

›   Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawing production; 3ds Max, SketchUp, or Lumion for visualization.

›   Experience with Revit for interior documentation is a strong advantage.

›   Solid knowledge of materials, finishes, and FF&E specification processes.

›   Good knowledge of fit-out construction methodology and joinery detailing.

›   Strong visual communication and presentation skills.

›   Proficiency in Arabic and English.
