Position: Senior Interior Designer (Developer Experience & Proficiency in REVIT Required)

About the Role:
Our client, a leading multidisciplinary design and architecture firm in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead and execute high-profile interior design projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in BIM-based workflows, sustainable design, and the latest UAE building and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and UAE regulatory requirements.
- Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and detailed space plans in line with client goals and sustainability standards.
- Produce detailed BIM models and documentation using Autodesk Revit and other BIM tools compliant with ISO 19650 standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and external consultants to ensure smooth project delivery through Common Data Environments (CDEs).
- Engage directly with clients throughout all project phases, presenting proposals, concepts, and VR/AR-based design visualizations.
- Research and specify sustainable materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures compliant with 2025 UAE sustainability standards.
- Oversee quality assurance across all design deliverables and ensure compliance with UAE codes and authority requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Liaise with local authorities for approvals, submissions, and compliance with Dubai Municipality and Trakhees standards.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys across UAE emirates, ensuring high-quality project implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field; professional certifications in BIM or sustainability (e.g., LEED, Estidama, Al Sa'fat) are advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in interior design, including at least 5 years in the UAE market.
- Strong expertise in BIM (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud) and 3D rendering software (3DS Max, V-Ray, D5, Lumion, etc.).
- Proven experience delivering sustainable, design-driven projects that meet UAE Green Building standards.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and client communication skills.
- Familiarity with UAE authority processes and submission portals.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license required.
