Senior Lawyer / Senior Legal Counsel
(Dubai, UAE | advisory-focused)
We are a Dubai-based legal and advisory firm working with HNWI, real estate investors, corporate clients and individuals, focusing on transactions, structuring and ongoing legal advisory.
We are looking for a Senior Lawyer to strengthen our core legal team, with a clear growth path to heading a legal practice / Junior Partner role.
Key responsibilities
- Legal advisory on corporate structuring and cross-border transactions
- Support of real estate transactions and ownership structuring in the UAE
- Drafting and reviewing complex legal documentation (shareholders agreements, SPAs, investment and commercial contracts)
- Advising HNWI and private clients on structuring, risk and legal architecture
- Coordination of external lawyers, tax advisors, banks and registrars
- Interaction with UAE authorities, free zones, banks and counterparties
- Preparation of written legal memorandums and risk-based advisory
- Participation in client discussions, negotiations and deal structuring
Required experience
- 57 years of legal experience in advisory / transactional work
- Minimum 12 years of real practical experience in the UAE (mandatory)
- Background in law firm, boutique advisory or Big4 legal/tax
- Strong exposure to:
-corporate and investment structuring,
-real estate transactions,
-banking and compliance matters in the UAE
- Client-facing experience (HNWI / investors)
- Ability to work independently and manage matters end-to-end
Language & team fit
- Fluent Russian and Ukrainian
- Strong written and spoken English
- Team-oriented mindset
Nice to have
- ADGM / DIFC experience
- Foundations, private wealth or asset protection structures
- Tax sensitivity (understanding consequences, not necessarily a tax advisor)
- Cross-border and offshore structuring exposure
What this role is not
- Litigation / disputes / arbitration
- PRO or company formation-only role
- Pure in-house or administrative legal position
