Job Summary
Dahua Technology Middle East FZE is the regional center of the Dahua MENA region. The Legal Counsel is responsible for providing comprehensive legal supports to all business units and teams within Dahua MENA region. We have legal entities in United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia in MENA region. The Legal Counsel will work closely with our colleagues from headquarter Legal Department based in China and with various business and functional units on a broad range of legal matters.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts relating to the distribution of video surveillance products and solutions
- Support various projects in the region
- Corporate governance
- Compliance, including anti-bribery, Data privacy and security, competition law, labor laws, product compliance
- Provide general legal guidance to the Company's sales and marketing functions
- Handle with business disputes, litigation and arbitration
- Organize legal and compliance training courses

- Language: Must be able to speak and write fluently in English. Candidates with knowledge of Chinese or more than one foreign language shall be considered with priority.
Required Education and Experience
- Juris master degree from a nationally recognized law school
- Minimum five years experience practicing corporate law with at least some of that time spent at a major law firm
- Experience providing legal support to an electronics or technology business, especially project supports
- Experience providing legal support to a business operating internationally
- Extensive knowledge of and past experience advising on compliance
- Previous experience drafting and negotiating commercial distribution and project agreements
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- International experience is a plus
- License to practice law is a plus
