Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the implementation of various opportunities to meet their business objectives. Plan investments, conduct marketing, and form partnerships as well as develop and propose business deals and take ownership of all their related activities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Take needed measures to sustain the effectiveness and efficiency of the function in a proactive and efficient manner
  • Contribute in developing the yearly function's budget taking into account the function's plans
  • Manage the implementation of the function's policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high-quality and cost-effective results
  • Developing goals for the business development team and business growth and ensuring they are met

Core Responsibilities:

  • Discover and explore as well as Plan and oversee new business opportunities and their marketing initiatives.
  • Screen potential business opportunities/deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials. In addition to evaluating options and resolving internal priorities.
  • Maintain current client and investor relationships and identifying areas for potential clients/investors
  • Contacting potential clients/investors to establish a business relationship and meet with them
  • Strong understanding of REMAT's products and services as well as business position and competition to keep business and potential opportunities competitive
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with REMAT's strategies and operations
  • Examine risks and potentials for the business opportunities
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Align with relevant concept model or masterplan, partnership agreement (contract or SLA), and relevant standards and regulations
  • Ensure team alignment with model, standards, and regulations
  • Approve partners designs from relevant regulatory and standards perspective
  • Oversee partner's operations and ensure service quality is aligned with relevant rules, regulations, and standards
  • Ensure periodic inspections are conducted on partners to ensure compliance to SLA and contract and proper maintenance is implemented where applicable
  • Enforce violations penalties for non-compliance and provide recommendations on actions in case of misalignments
  • Follow up on required actions in case of misalignments and ensure proper implementation
  • Follow-up on revenues collection from partners in alignment with the Finance function
  • Review reports that address partners progress and compliance and provide recommendations on improvement points
  • Ensure periodic surveys are conducted and analyzed to measure stakeholder's satisfaction and provide recommendations on model enhancement accordingly
  • Review financial/ economics outputs, models, and agreements to meet the required targets
  • Manage own performance and career growth in line with the set performance targets
  • Perform tasks assigned by direct supervisor in a comprehensive and accurate manner

Academic and professional qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other relevant fields
  • Preferred certification in Project Management Professional (PMP), Portfolio Management Certification (PfMP) equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Asset Management, or other relevant fields
  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience

Language

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken)
