Senior Network Engineer

1Network Architecture Planning & Analysis

Working closely with the Senior IT Manager, plan and design Group network infrastructure architecture based on business requirements and growth projections.

Spearhead execution and maintenance of Group network.

Analyse system availability & reliability, and overall network performance.

Report and recommend enhancements related to the Group network.

2 Network Administration & Maintenance

Handle Group network administration ensuring seamless execution ensuring Group infrastructure and networks are functioning properly all the time.

Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability all the time.

Maintain computer networks that include mainframes, VPNs, routers, switches, and other hardware.

Conduct regular network maintenance, including updating software and hardware.

Install and configure network equipment.

Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures.

Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected.

Implement disaster recovery procedures.

Strictly follow security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to the Group systems.

Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.

3 Troubleshooting & End-users Technical Support

Troubleshoot all network-related issues and ensure projects are free from infrastructure and operational issues.

Monitor and resolve tickets and outages in a timely manner.

Assist and support employees / end-users and resolve issues in a swift and professional manner.

4 IT Infrastructure Vendors-related Support

Collaborate with procurement related to network-related vendors and service providers.

Regularly interact and communicate with network service providers and vendors and maintain good working relationships all the time.

Actively engage in negotiating and finalizing service level agreements related to IT-infrastructure procurement.

-Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Professional Certifications

Cisco Certified Network

Professional (CCNP) is preferred

-Experience in Similar Capacity Min. 2 years

-Total Required Experience Min. 5 years

-Fluent in English & Arabic languages
