Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in managing FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundational knowledge of security principles and practices, along with proficiency in BIG-IP F5 LTM and ASM or Imperva WAF and A10 load balancer.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and manage network security solutions like FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls.

Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and perform regular security assessments.

Configure and maintain BIG-IP F5 LTM and ASM for application delivery and security, or Imperva WAF and A10 load balancer.

Configure and maintain NAC solution for user access and device administration, like Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE

Hands-on experience in IDS/IPS, like Trellix IPS, or anything related to

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.

Respond to security incidents and provide remediation strategies.

Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends to enhance network security measures.

Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls.

Proficient in security Network access products like Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass

Strong knowledge of security fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.

Proficient in BIG-IP F5 LTM and ASM configuration and management, or anything related to it, like Imperva WAF and A10 load balancer.

Relevant certifications (CCNA security, CCNP score, CCIE, Fortinet, Palo Alto) are a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
