We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to maintain, operate, and harden enterprise network and security infrastructure. The role is focused on ensuring highly available, secure, and resilient IT network operations in a large enterprise environment.
Role Overview:
The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end operation, security, and stability of core network infrastructure, while ensuring alignment with ISO/IEC 27001 standards and supporting ongoing information security management system (ISMS) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, operate, and harden enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco Nexus & Catalyst switches/routers, wireless controllers, firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet), Forescout NAC, Cisco ISE, and F5 WAF
- Ensure stable, secure, and highly available IT network operations across enterprise environments
- Implement, operate, support, and maintain ISMS processes aligned with ISO/IEC 27000 series standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 certification requirements
- Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, and security hardening activities
- Support continuous availability and reliability of critical IT network services
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to track project activities, communicate updates, and ensure successful delivery of network/security initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and support operational reporting requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8–10 years of experience in Network Security or Network Administration
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, F5 (LTM & WAF), Cisco ISE, and Forescout NAC
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and enterprise network operations
- Experience in maintaining and securing large-scale enterprise network environments
- Good understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 and information security management systems
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills in LAN/WAN environments
- Experience working with change, incident, and problem management processes
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCNP certification (preferred)
- ISO/IEC 27001 certification (preferred)
- Palo Alto (PCNSE / PCNSA) certification
- F5 certifications (301/303) or equivalent
- Additional network/security certifications will be an advantage
