Senior Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all planning and scheduling functions across major construction projects.

Provide strategic planning advice and executive reporting to Project Directors, senior management, and clients.

Lead and mentor the project planning team, ensuring alignment with project delivery objectives.

Direct the preparation of EOT claims, delay analysis, and schedule recovery plans.

Approve baseline, mitigation, and revised project schedules.

Oversee the preparation of resource plans, KPIs, and project cash flow forecasts.

Ensure subcontractor schedules are fully integrated with the master construction program.

Support project close-out activities including final completion and lessons-learned documentation.

Requirements

1215+ years of experience in planning for large building and high-rise construction projects.

Significant experience in a senior planning role with a main contractor.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

In-depth understanding of construction contracts, delay analysis, and claims management.

Expert proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.

Advanced knowledge of construction planning methodologies and Critical Path Method (CPM).
