Job Description

Senior Project Manager Broadcast Systems Integration

Location: Dubai, UAE (with regional travel)

Reporting to: Director of Operations

Projects: Broadcast, Media, IT & Systems Integration (multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder)

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can own project delivery end-to-end in complex broadcast and media systems integration projects.

This role is not a coordination layer and not a PMO role.

The successful candidate will take full ownership of delivery, absorb day-to-day pressure from clients and vendors, and ensure projects move forward without diluting technical reality or escalating every issue upward.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Ownership

- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned projects (scope, timeline, dependencies, risks).

- Maintain realistic project plans and actively drive execution, not just report status.

- Identify risks early, propose mitigation options, and resolve issues before escalation.

- Be accountable for milestones, deliverables, and closure.

Client & Vendor Management

- Act as the primary interface for delivery-related communication with clients and vendors.

- Manage expectations, pressure, and escalations professionally and proactively.

- Push vendors and partners firmly when commitments slip.

- Ensure communication is clear, accurate, and aligned with project reality.

Internal Coordination

- Coordinate closely with engineering, solution architects, and operations teams.

- Ensure engineers are protected from unnecessary noise, interruptions, and politics.

- Track actions, commitments, and follow-ups and close them.

- Ensure internal discipline on timelines, inputs, and responsibilities.

Governance & Reporting

- Maintain clear project documentation (plans, risk logs, action trackers).

- Provide decision-ready updates to management: options, impacts, and recommendations.

- Escalate only when required, with context and proposed solutions.

What This Role Is Not

- Not a PMO or reporting-only role

- Not a technical design authority

- Not a meeting-only coordinator

- Not a message-forwarding layer

Required Profile Experience

- 8+ years of project management experience in broadcast, media, IT, or complex systems integration.

- Proven track record managing multi-vendor, high-pressure projects.

- Experience dealing directly with clients, operators, consultants, and vendors.

- Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity, changing priorities, and political complexity.

Skills & Mindset

- Strong ownership mentality takes responsibility, not cover.

- Comfortable pushing back on clients and vendors when required.

- Able to make decisions with incomplete information.

- Clear communicator concise, structured, and factual.

- Resilient under pressure; calm in conflict.

- Understands that engineering teams need clarity and protection, not bureaucracy.

Working Model & Authority

- The Senior Project Manager owns delivery and execution.

- Technical authority remains with engineering and solution architecture leads.

- The role requires autonomy, accountability, and trust.

- The PM is expected to reduce escalation, not increase it.

What Success Looks Like

- Projects move forward without constant senior management intervention.

- Risks are visible early, not at the point of failure.

- Engineers focus on execution, not chasing or politics.

- Clients feel guided, not confused.

- Management receives fewer escalations and clearer decisions.

Why Join

- High-impact role with real ownership.

- Direct exposure to complex, high-profile broadcast projects.

- No artificial bureaucracy or PMO noise.

- Opportunity to shape delivery culture, not just follow templates.
