As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring successful execution within budget, scope, and schedule. Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for managing multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver major architectural projects, ensuring all phases are completed to the highest standards.
- Lead the planning, design, procurement, construction, and handover processes for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring seamless delivery.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise, mitigating risks effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular progress updates.
- Ensure projects meet all local and international compliance standards, including health and safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
- Manage project financials, tracking budgets, costs, and providing detailed reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with design, technical, and operational teams to drive project success, promoting collaboration and innovation throughout the process.
- Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices in project management and contributing to operational efficiencies within the organization.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in project management, with a strong background in architecture, construction, or engineering.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, multi-national projects, ideally within the architectural or built environment sector.
- In-depth knowledge of project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Aconex, etc.).
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across different cultures, managing teams and stakeholders in various regions.
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with project budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control.
- Fluent in English; Arabic language skills would be a bonus.
- Willingness to travel as required for project oversight.
