Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Purchasing Specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and marketing supplies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and timely availability of materials to support production and marketing operations.
Role Description
- Manage the full procurement cycle for raw materials, packaging, and marketing materials.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to achieve best value (cost, quality, and delivery).
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and supply continuity.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with planning and production teams to ensure material availability.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative materials.
- Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports on cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to support business needs.
- Handle supplier performance evaluation and resolve any supply or quality issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in cosmeceutical, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.
- Strong experience in sourcing raw materials, packaging, and marketing items.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, or similar).
- Very good command of English.
