Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Quantity Surveying (QS) Engineer located in New Cairo. The Senior QS Engineer will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, conducting value engineering, analyzing project costs, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with project budgets. The role involves close collaboration with project teams to monitor expenses, prepare financial reports, and mitigate risks related to cost control. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial feasibility of projects and maintaining effective client communication regarding cost-related matters.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and cost control
  • Strong skills in contract management, tender preparation, and procurement processes
  • Knowledge of value engineering principles, cost analysis, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Primavera, and cost estimation tools
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and market rates
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as MRICS or PMP are an advantage
  • 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related field, preferably within consulting firms
