Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management, contract administration and commercial control across our luxury and high-rise developments, ensuring financial integrity and value throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all pre- and post-contract quantity surveying activities for major construction projects.

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, tender documentation and commercial proposals.

Evaluate subcontractor quotations, conduct commercial comparisons and support award recommendations.

Administer contracts, review variations, assess claims and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Work closely with project managers, planning engineers and procurement teams to monitor project costs and forecast future expenditures.

Conduct site measurements, validate progress reports and certify interim payment applications.

Lead value engineering exercises to optimize project cost-efficiency without compromising quality.

Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flows and commercial dashboards for management review.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost databases, market benchmarks and commercial records.

Qualifications & Experience:

1012+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within high-rise, mixed-use or large-scale construction projects.

Strong knowledge of cost planning, contract administration (FIDIC preferred), procurement and commercial management.

Hands-on experience with QS and cost management software/tools (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar).

Excellent understanding of UAE construction market rates, subcontractor ecosystems and material pricing.

Strong negotiation, analytical and commercial risk assessment skills.

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field; RICS accreditation is an advantage.
