LACASA is seeking an experienced Sr. Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in construction tender management and tender evaluation processes, demonstrating their ability to manage the full spectrum of pre-contract activities.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Review and evaluate submitted tenders, conduct comparative analysis, and make recommendations for contract awards.
- Reviewing Bills of Quantities based on drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Assist in selecting contractors and suppliers, ensuring the procurement process aligns with budgetary and project requirements.
- Participate in negotiations with contractors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and competitive pricing.
- Draft and prepare contract documentation, including letters of acceptance, tender reports, and award recommendations.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of tender processes, cost estimates, and pre-contract activities to senior management.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying field with 10 to 15 years preferably relevant UAE experience.
- Strong experience in managing construction tenders from submission to final recommendation.
- Expertise in evaluating tender documents, comparing bids, and making recommendations for award.
- Proficient in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets.
- In-depth understanding of various contract types and procurement strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

- Demonstrates a proactive approach to resolving issues and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
